Campbell is the Silicon Valley city with one of the most unmistakable downtowns in the area. Campbell Avenue with its restored brick storefronts, the historic 1928 water tower with the city name painted across it, and a residential pattern of bungalows and small-lot ranches that have been steadily renovating for two decades.
Geographically, Campbell sits between Los Gatos and West San Jose, with Highway 17 cutting through the eastern edge. The Los Gatos Creek Trail runs straight through town, connecting all the way to Vasona Park in Los Gatos and Lexington Reservoir beyond.
